I fitted hundreds of CROS Hearing Aids. CROS hearing aids are for those people who have one sided hearing. By putting the mic in the deaf ear and a mic in the good ear, the person now get's almost surround sound. Hearing with one ear can be compared to a person who is blind in one eye and drives a car - very dangerous. The most satisfaction I've encountered with CROS hearing aids is when the spouse tells me that it is so good to be able to communicate with their mate, especially when driving.
